The Marukyu scientists have calculated that the best pellets for catching fish are those made using the cold manufacturing process. Almost all other pellets on the market are made for feeding fish in aquaculture are made by the extrusion method, which involves a heating process.
Marukyu scientists believe that a cold and dry pellet has many more advantages. The speed of releasing the attractants is very important along with breakdown speed; Marukyu pellets are extremely fast working.
These pellets are denser that traditional pellets and are not colour coated, which gives them distinct advantages.

SDP OCEAN FLAVOURED PELLETS
SDP 2001,2003,2006,2008 are 'Ocean-flavoured' pellets with a very fast breakdown speed.
These pellets work quickly and are located fast by the fish due to the released attractants.
Marukyu Scientists know that certain amino acids can be species specific.
The Ocean formula is aimed at all carp species.
They are available in 1mm, 3mm, 6mm and 8mm variants.


SDP NORI FLAVOURED PELLETS
SDP 2101, 2103, 2106 and 2108 contain Nori - making them attractive to a wider range of species.
Again they are available in 1mm, 3mm, 6mm and 8mm variants.

SDP 2101, 2103, 2106 and 2108 contain Nori, which is Japanese for seaweed.
Seaweeds are marine algae which represent highly nutritious foodstuffs when they are incorporated into baits and groundbaits. They're packed with vitamins, plant sterols and trace elements, as well as Omega-3 and Omega-6 oils. The real goodies, however, are a range of natural compounds which help provide fish with anti-biotic and anti-viral protection - good for fishing and good for fish.
Field testers have had consistent outstanding results with bream and tench with any Marukyu baits that include the exclusive Nori formulations.
